Six Years Ago

In remembrance of 9/11, I dug out my photos from that day six years ago that changed all of our lives. They are certainly not the caliber of images we've all become so familiar with, but they are what my eyes saw that day.


We can't change what happened that day. And we can't change what's happened in the years since, in a war falsely predicated on a non-existent connection between 9/11 and Iraq.

But we has citizens have the power and responsibility to tell our leaders what we want. It's your vote. Use it or lose it! Although the election is over a year away, there will probably never be a more important vote (except 2004 and 2000 - don't make the same mistake again!)

If your previous votes enabled this war to continue, it's not too late to change. Are you really living in the small-government, low tax world you've been led to believe your vote would create? Not while we're all funding a $300 million-a-day (yes, a day) misguided and unwinable war. (And not at all, if you do your research).

While it won't undo 9/11 and it won't undo the thousands of deaths since, ending the war and righting our course as a nation is the only choice that makes sense.
