Could it be that they're aware of his almost-retired lifestyle and assume he's older? That's his theory.
I'd like to know what's in it for me, other than the obvious (?) benefit of being married to an old man. If he joins, could we get into movies for half price or order from the seniors' menu at Denny's? Any AARP-ers out there care to share?
